Creative Europe: translation funds
Calling publishers working in translation of European
Support for the translation, production and promotion of
European works of fiction from any of 40 countries participating,
including under represented genres.
CREATIVE EUROPE is the European Union's programme to support the
cultural, creative and audiovisual sectors. From 2014-2020, €1.46
billion is available to support European projects with the
potential to travel, reach new audiences and encourage skill
sharing and development.
This funding opportunity supports publishers and publishing
houses to translate, produce and promote European literary works.
Eligible costs include the translation, production and promotion of
European fiction (including children's & YA), short stories,
poetry and plays.
There are two categories:
- 2 YEAR PROJECTS: 3 - 10 eligible European works across 2 years,
up to €100,000 and must be matched by at least 50% funding from
other sources (by the end of the project).
- FRAMEWORK PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENTS: 3 - 10 eligible European
works PER YEAR for 3 years, up to €100,000 PER YEAR.
