Hours: Part Time (21 hours per week)

Contract Type: Fixed-Term for 4 months and 9 days.

The University of Glasgow is looking to recruit a part-time research assistant. The post is based in the School of Critical Studies.

The purpose of the job is to make a contribution to the project: 'Dreaming the Daily Darg: Working Lives in Scottish Fiction since 1918' working with Dr Corey Gibson, lecturer in twentieth-century Scottish literature. Specifically, the job requires expert knowledge in the area of modern and/or contemporary Scottish literature. The successful candidate will also be expected to engage in research interrogating shifting representations of work, workers, and workplaces in the modern Scottish literary imaginary. The primary research output of this post will be an extensive annotated bibliography on this topic, to be published online. Other duties will include planning and implementing broader research aims in collaboration with the Principal Investigator.
