21 May 2018

It was a good night for 404 Ink and their author Chris McQueer at the Saboteur Awards 2018 which took place in London on 19 May 2018.

404 Ink - Laura Jones and Heather McDaid - won the Most Innovative Publisher award and Hings by Chris McQueer won the Best Short Story Collection.

For the full list of winners, see the Sabotage Reviews website.

The Saboteur Awards are run by Sabotage Reviews which was founded in 2010 by Claire Trévien to provide dynamic commentary and reviews of small-scale and ephemeral literature that might not otherwise receive such critical and public attention. The focus is on independent, small-budget literature; poetry pamphlets, short stories and live performance (particularly open mic events and spoken word shows). It publishes an average of 500 reviews each year. Sabotage is representative of the hugely diverse amount of work actually being made and written in the 'literary ecology' and stands for inclusiveness and commitment to new voices in literature.
