Denise Mina story wins CWA Short Story Dagger 2018

29 October 2018

Denise Mina's short story in the Bloody Scotland anthology published by Historic Environment Scotland is the winner of the CWA Short Story Dagger 2018 (Crime Writers Awards).

'Nemo Me Impunit Lacessit' is a sinister tale of a vindictive child, where the dread builds, pulling you in so that you can't look away. Its ending will stay with you for some time.

The 2018 CWA Daggers were awarded at a prestigious event on 25 October at the Grange City Hotel, London.

For the full list of winners, see the CWA website.
