The Dark Remains wins at the Nibbies

Congratulations to Ian Rankin and publisher Canongate Books whose The Dark Remains by William McIlvanney and Ian Rankin won the Fiction: Crime and Thriller category at the 2022 Bookseller’s British Book Awards. The winners of the awards (aka The Nibbies) were announced in London on 23 May 2022 alongside an online ceremony.

Another book published by Canongate was shortlisted in the Fiction: Début category: Mrs Death Misses Death by Salena Godden.

You are a Champion by footballer Marcus Rashford (Macmillan Children’s Books) won Book of the Year 2022.

The Bookseller’s British Book Awards, aka The Nibbies, represent the best of the book trade, showcasing books, bookshops, agents and publishers.
