Publishing Scotland members Belle Media, Canongate Books, Edinburgh University Press, and Saraband are all shortlisted for IPG Independent Publishing Awards 2023. Publishing Scotland’s distribution company BookSource is also shortlisted for an award.
Canongate Books is shortlisted in three categories: PBShop Trade Publisher of the Year, Deanta International Award, and The Bookseller Marketing Award.
Edinburgh University Press is on the ProQuest Academic and Professional Publisher of the Year shortlist.
Belle Media and Saraband are both shortlisted for the Zebralution Audio Award.
And BookSource is on the shortlist for the Services to Independent Publishers Award.
IPG said that with the shortlists featuring 65 nominations, 40 different companies and six talented people, these are their biggest ever Awards by some distance.
The winners will be announced at the 2023 Independent Publishing Awards Lunch at the OXO Tower in London on Wednesday 22 March.
