In November 2022, Publishing Scotland launched an audiobook project to encourage the production of audio within the membership and share the learnings from it. Members were invited to submit titles from which five were selected by the project panel.
Helped with funding from Creative Scotland’s Cultural Recovery Fund, the books that will be funded into audiobook production are:
- Carries Kills a Man by Carrie Marshall, published by 404 Ink
- How to Survive Everything by Ewan Morrison, published by Saraband
- Ruxton: The First Modern Murder by Tom Wood, published by Ringwood Publishing
- Elena Knows by Claudia Piniero, published by Charco Press
- The Gingerbread Men by Joanna Corrance, published by Haunt Publishing
Publishing Scotland is working with Offbeat in Edinburgh for this project and the audiobooks will be available to download in spring 2023.
