Book festivals

Scotland is very well served with book festivals. They range from the world’s largest (Edinburgh International Book Festival) to small local ones run by volunteers. Literature Alliance Scotland has a list of book festivals in Scotland.

Book festivals are much more than talks about books. They are often the catalyst for ideas and places where people can discuss big and small issues with a wide range of open-minded people.
