How To Get Published

Writers and Artists are partnering with the Open University Scotland to offer a full day conference packed with practical presentations and panel discussions from authors and publishing industry professionals.
The line-up, which includes acclaimed novelists Kerry Hudson (Thirst, Lowborn) and Rachelle Atalla (The Pharmacist), has been purpose-built to provide a range of guidance on the writing craft as well as insight into the world of publishing, while the networking lunch provides a unique opportunity to network with writing peers. The keynote speaker Louise Welsh (The Cutting Room, The Plague Times Trilogy, The Second Cut) will be sharing advice gained from across her career, while a panel of literary agents and publishers will end the day by shedding light on the process of how to get published.
