Words of War Book Festival

The second ‘Words of War’ Book Festival will take place on 1st and 2nd October at the Black Watch Castle and Museum in Perth following the popular appeal of the original festival in 2019.
Location: The Black Watch Castle and Museum, Perth
Date: Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd October 2022 | 10am-5pm
Visiting authors have written on a broad spectrum of subjects associated with war, the military, military history, and war stories. In conversation with fellow authors and interviewers, they will discuss their books, the history, and stories within them.
Full details of all the talks, times and ticket prices are contained in the programme: see the Words of War Programme 2022 (pdf). Each talk will be followed by book signings in the Festival Book Shop.
Proceeds from this unique event will go towards supporting charitable aims which can be read on the Black Watch website.
