Ordorica and Rachel Plummer, as they discuss their poetry collections, and also go behind the scenes to explore the author-editor relationship in this event sponsored by Publishing Scotland. Andrés’s debut collection, At Least This I Know, works through belonging in both a physical and an emotional sense, be it the belonging of immigrant bodies in new countries, or the belonging of the queer self within found families and safe spaces. Rachel, editor of that collection, is also the author of Wain, which collates LGBT re-tellings of Scottish myths, from kelpies and the Loch Ness Monster to lesser-known creatures, creating diverse and enchanting visions of contemporary life.
