Book Week Scotland 2020 Events

Book Week Scotland is an annual
celebration of books and reading that takes place across the
country. Book Week Scotland 2020 will run from 16 to 22 November
and is supported by Creative Scotland and SLIC.
This year, Publishing Scotland is teaming with the Stay-at-Home! Literary Festival to
bring you six fantastic online events - 3 live and 3 pre-recorded -
that offers something for every reader!
You'll find all the featured books conveniently
gathered on the Book Week Scotland shelves of the Edinburgh International Book Festival's online
bookshop.

Rebel Ladies, Fabulous Fiction - Tuesday 17 November,
6pm
Author Sara Sheridan will be chairing a conversation with four
brilliant authors - Juliet Conlin, Lesley Glaister, Ajay Close and
Olga Wojtas - on their latest novels starring rebellious,
subversive women.
Growing Pains: Against the Odds in Childrens and YA
Fiction - Thursday 19 November, 6pm
Author CJ Cooke will chair a conversation with up-and-coming
writers - Akemi Dawn Bowman, Laura Guthrie, Emily Ilett, Ross
Sayers and Victoria Williamson - of childrens' and YA
fiction.

Bibliotherapy Session with Barrington Stoke - Friday 20
November, 11am
The team at Barrington Stoke will offer book recommendations for
the reluctant reader in your house. All slots have now been
booked.
