A fantastic opportunity of Head of Editorial has arisen with a dynamic, creative EdTech company based in Glasgow, Scotland. This role is a fixed term contract until March 2021.

Our client is a digital media company that create digital educational resources, with print support materials, for use within schools internationally, they are currently at the start of an exciting project that has resulted in fantastic business growth. They are seeking a Head of Editorial who will share their enthusiasm and passion and join them in their mission to continue to succeed.

The main remit of this Head of Editorial role will be to focus on and drive the editorial side and head up and support a team. They will be responsible for the line management of c. 8 senior team members, working with stakeholders both internally and externally, liaising across all departments, co-ordinating educational publishing projects and ultimately ensuring that the highest quality curriculum-aligned content is published across both print and online formats.

The ideal Head of Editorial will be an experienced editorial publishing professional, from having previously managed complex print and digital projects with a variety of strands, whilst have a proven track record of managing a large team of talented and experienced content editors and development editors. This position will be based in their central Glasgow office. There will be some flexibility once settled in the role where perhaps one day per week working at home may be suitable.
