RBGE: Publishing Assistant

Full Time, Fixed term (22 months) based in Edinburgh

Salary £20,413 (Band B)

The Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh has an exciting opportunity for a Publishing Assistant to join our Publications team.  You will help the Publications team in the production of Garden literature including mainstream books, magazines, visitor guide, journals and corporate reports as well as the delivery of our sales and marketing campaigns.

We are looking for a highly organised individual, a great time manager who can help us to meet our numerous deadlines.  A team player, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  You will support colleagues by coordinating publication schedules, managing our social media and email channels and undertaking general administrative tasks to make the department more efficient.

Previous experience within a publishing environment is desirable but not essential.  An undergraduate degree in a relevant subject or equivalent experience is essential.
