British Book Awards open for entries

 The British Book Awards 2020 are open for entry!

Objective, transparent and independently judged, The British Book Awards has championed the best books, publishers and bookshops for 30 years since its launch in 1990.

If you want to hold a coveted golden Nibbie aloft at the 2020 awards, now's the time to enter.

The closing date is 7 February 2020.

The individual categories in Books, Authors & Illustrators are:

  • Book of the Year - Children's: Fiction
  • Book of the Year - Children's: Illustrated & Non-Fiction
  • Book of the Year - Fiction
  • Book of the Year - Fiction: Crime & Thriller
  • Book of the Year - Fiction: D├ębut
  • Book of the Year - Non-fiction: Lifestyle
  • Book of the Year - Non-fiction: Narrative
  • Author of the Year
  • Illustrator of the Year
