PA issues demands to UK Government on Covid crisis

Stephen Lotinga Chief Executive Officer of the
Publishers Association (PA) has set out five key
asks that the PA is pushing for to ensure that the UK publishing
industry receives the additional support from government that it
needs to deal with the current unprecedented challenges. He says
that they are born out of responses to a member survey and recent
interactions. They are:
- Business rates relief
- Extended interest-free period,
- Part-time furlough
- Supply chain clarity
- Funding for education resources
