Hachette UK: Head of Sales

Apply by Thursday 23 March for this full-time permanent position which can be based in Hachette’s Edinburgh, London, Newcastle, or Sheffield offices.

Salary: £46,000–£55,000, dependent on experience and location(+bonus + benefits)


What you’ll be doing

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the HUK Sales team at Octopus as their Head of Sales – Mono Publishing.

Working alongside the Head of Sales – Colour Publishing and reporting to the Group Sales Director, you will be responsible for maximising sales and profitability, delivering budgets, and managing key relationships both internally and externally. You will work across the Octopus list with a focus on our mono publishing including narrative non-fiction, fiction and gift. The successful candidate will have relevant experience of selling both to the high street and international markets, managing budgets, and working collaboratively with a number of stakeholders.
