Arkbound

Arkbound is a publishing social enterprise based in Glasgow. Our aim is to support authors from disadvantaged and diverse backgrounds to get their voices heard, especially for writing that covers important social and environmental themes. We are one of the very few publishers to actively support people from disadvantaged backgrounds and all of our proceeds go back into the Arkbound Foundation charity.

Since 2015, we have published a range of books in fiction and non-fiction. Our published books are diverse and feature authors from across Scotland, the UK and beyond. New book submissions are always welcomed – we are particularly interested in publishing work that has a social or environmental message of some kind, by people who would otherwise face difficulties getting published simply by virtue of their background.
