Established in 2016, Biblichor provides
typesetting and design services to independent publishers, academic
institutions and heritage bodies.
We have particular expertise in design-led and image-heavy
projects. Our team can create facsimile content for
out-of-print analogue titles and also provide eBook/epub, open
source, reprographic, art-working and data entry/conversion
services. We can offer cost-saving advice on unusual or
complex projects and we're happy to tackle messy, fragmented or
heavily copy-edited manuscripts.
Recent titles include The Story of Looking (Canongate
Books), the Muriel Spark Centenary Editions (Polygon) and If I
Survive: Frederick Douglass and Family in the Walter O.
Evans Collection (EUP).
Clients include Birlinn, Polygon, John Donald, Canongate Books,
Edinburgh University Press, Sandstone Press, Verso, University of
Wales Press and the Society of Antiquaries.
