at Sperling & Kupfer, Enrico Racca now works as Editorial
Director for the children's imprints of Mondadori group (Mondadori
children's books and Piemme - Il Battello a Vapore). He is 38 years
old and lives in Milan. Mondadori publishes all genres of
children's books, for all ages. Among its bestselling authors are
Richard Scarry, David McKee, Rick Riordan, Cassandra Clare, Suzanne
Collins, Michael Ende, Melvin Burgess, Patrick Ness, Brian Selznick
and many others. Piemme is a leading publisher of children's books
(with a 15% market share) thanks to the success of the Il Battello
