Iris Tupholme
Iris Tupholme is Senior Vice President and Executive Publisher
of HarperCollins Publishers Ltd, a dynamic publishing house based
in downtown Toronto. HarperCollins publishes award-winning and
bestselling books in a variety of formats for adults, young
adults and children. In addition to her executive role, Iris
acquires and edits a wide range of international fiction and
non-fiction including works by Lawrence Hill, Emma Donoghue,
Rosemary Sullivan, David Bezmozgis, Shilpi Somaya Gowda and Cathy
Marie Buchanan among many others. In 2008, Iris established the
International Visitors Programme (IV) which brings a select group
of international publishers, editors, literary agents and scouts to
Toronto against the backdrop of the International Festival of
Authors at Harbourfront. A multiple winner of the Libris Award for
Publisher of the Year, Iris was chosen as Editor of the Year in
2013.
