Bénédicte Lombardo
Bénédicte Lombardo was born in Cannes in 1971. After studying
Spanish and philosophy in Nice, she graduated in publishing and
communication in Paris. After six months in Denmark ending her
studies, she joined Editions Joëlle Losfeld, a literary independent
publisher, specialised in French and foreign fiction and was editor

worked for 11 years as editorial director for the SFF imprints for
both Fleuve Noir (trade) and Pocket (mass market paperback). She
also created a general YA imprint, Territoires. She briefly worked
with a TV Producer as commissioning editor and eventually joined
