Lisa Highton

Lisa Highton is an Associate Agent at Jenny Brown Associates.  Lisa was most recently Publisher at Two Roads, the imprint of John Murray Press currently shortlisted as Publisher of the Year, where she published many bestselling writers, including Kirsty Wark, Ruth Hogan, Monty Don and Sally Magnusson. 

Lisa set up Two Roads, the highly successful imprint of John Murray Press, in 2011.   She was previously deputy managing director for Hodder & Stoughton.  In Australia, she joined Hachette, then Hodder Headline, in Sydney in 1993, having previously worked as publishing director for Doubleday and HarperCollins.  Many of the books she has discovered and the authors she has nurtured as a publisher have gone on to become huge bestsellers, including Marley & Me by John Grogan, Monty Don’s Nigel and My Garden World, The Keeper of Lost Things by Ruth Hogan and Sarah Haywood’s The Cactus.  She left Two Roads in December 2021 and joined Jenny Brown Associates as an Associate Agent in April 2022.
